Drift Regional Warranty - Consumers

Drift products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects one (1) year from the original date of purchase. We strongly suggest, for this reason, to keep your receipt (tax receipt at purchase) or other similar documents with the date received upon purchase. Please note we may not be able to act on any warranty claim if such documents are not presented to us. Drift’s sole obligation in the event of such defects during this period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product at the manufacturer’s sole discretion. Damages deriving from use or from an accident or caused by the natural wear and tear do not fall within this guarantee or any other guarantees, as described on the Limited Product Statement Warranty.


Before replacing or repairing a suspected faulty item, the company will ask for the item to be sent back for testing. The postage costs for this are to be covered by the consumer. The above applies ONLY to consumers as defined by the Law. Drift will restrict warranty services for Drift products to the country where Drift or its Authorised Distributors originally sold the device. 


WITHIN THE EUROPEAN UNION


The statutory guarantee covers the productions defects of the Drift products for a period of 2 (two) years from the original purchase day in which the consumer can enforce this guarantee within 2 (two) months from the discovery of the defect. We strongly suggest, for this reason, to keep your receipt (tax receipt at purchase) or other similar document with date received upon the purchase. Please note we may not be able to act on any warranty claim if such documents are not presented to us. As per the EU directives, the retailer covers the first 12 months of the warranty period, while the remaining 12 months are the direct responsibility of the manufacturer.


In case of conformity defect, the consumer is entitled, at its own discretion, to the repair or the substitution of the defected products by the seller, without any additional cost, save if the requested remedy is not possible or too expensive in respect of the other. If repair or substitutions are not possible, the consumer has, in any case, the right to have a reduction of the price or to have a sum proportioned to the product value paid back, against the return of the product to the seller.
