SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMUNITY MANAGER

Position Summary

Ready to be the voice of one of the biggest up-and-coming action camera companies? Drift Innovation is looking for a creative, responsible and highly organised individual with a strong knowledge of action sports to be the new Marketing and Content Executive. This individual will have at least 1-2 years experience managing a company’s social thumbprint and be active/involved in the action sports industry, particularly in motorsports. The Marketing executive will work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer. This person will play a key role in engaging and building upon respective core audience groups through multiple social media channels while ensuring consistency in voice and brand.

Your Responsibilities

Social Media

» Day-to-day oversight, managing, and shaping of Drift Innovation’s respective global social media platforms
» This includes idea generation, writing content, scheduling, uploading, posting, campaign launching, tracking and reporting.
» Be the digital “eyes and ears” of the brands and continue to build an overall reputation that is aligned with the organisations’ branding guidelines and policies
» Participate and moderate online conversations pertaining to Drift Innovation. Answer comments, concerns, and questions through all necessary social channels.
» Research new platforms and tools for engagement, and lead and/or assist with the creation and execution of activations.

Marketing and PR

» Build email campaigns for B2B and B2C purposes.
» Research, write, edit and proof editorial content for online and offline needs such as newsletters, blog posts, web pages, press release and print pieces.
» Work with Marketing team to develop strategy and best practices to optimize current marketing activities.
» Analyze and provide bi-weekly reports to help shape marketing strategy and measure success for individual campaigns as well as general outreach.
» Daily management of athlete activities, including sending athletes the latest gear, tracking contracts and updating marketing finances
» Research, build and manage relationships with press contacts for reviews.
» Provide on-site assistance with Marketing events and activations.

Required Skills

» Degree in Marketing, Communication or PR preferred
» Passion for the action sports world
» Knowledge of the motorsports/mountain bike/ ski industry and their online presences
» Minimum 1-2 year’s digital marketing experience in either an agency or brand/business.
» Understanding of best practices to communicate and connect audiences to a brand through multiple channels while properly optimizing those channels
» Knowledge and strong experience with social media platforms: (including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Google+, Instagram, Hootsuite, Pinterest, etc.)

» Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English mother tongue)
» Ability to work under and meet deadlines
» Ability to prioritize and demonstrate flexibility
» Good organisational and reporting skills
» Ability to work weekends or evenings when needed (special events, powder days, etc.)
» Good sense of humour and knowledgeable of latest online trends

Desired Skills

» Photo/Video editing and photography skills
» Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
» HTML, CSS, Wordpress experience

FIRMWARE QC MANAGER

The Firmware QC Manager is responsible for the in house debugging and production quality of the full range of camera firmware including the Mobile Application for both IOS and Android. They will be diligent in their understanding of each configuration and setting.  They are to test and analyse image quality, recording functions, playback functions, Wi-Fi assessment, audio quality and general user interface testing. They will assist the lead engineer in tuning and developing the cameras by under­standing the testing needs set out by the engineering team, as well as their own technical training.

Your Responsibilities

» Testing and management of firmware for full camera line up.
» Working with lead engineer to work on key firmware features and solve high priority issues.
» Work with QA team to ensure firmware is validated for production release.
» Plan, schedule and coordinate development activities in firmware testing globally.
» Analyse customer support feedback for weaknesses in current production firmware editions.
» Perform image quality analysing.
» Prototyping product concepts and contributing to firmware architecture.
» Development of department documentation and processes to insure product quality.
» Support Customer Service for quality/firmware related field issues.
» Interface with Senior Engineers to communicate with assembly and pack­ing groups.

Required Skills

» Degree level qualifications in CS, EE, EP, or similar.
» Understand the operation of image sensors and camera components.
» Experience in testing firmware is crucial.
» Proficient in Microsoft Office.
» 3+ years’ experience in applicable position.
» Able to lead a team and promote a positive work environment.
» Able to work in the UK.

Desired Skills

» Experience in managing action camera firmware.
» Experienced in working with Asia.
» Experience with Matlab or similar.
» Action sports lifestyle.
» Working knowledge of optical systems.

ENGLISH SPEAKING CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE –
LONDON BASED (full time)

» A proactive approach to customer retention.
» A comprehensive understanding of the Company’s products and E-business model.
» Offer additional support to all areas of the business.
» Assist the Company in maintaining its goal of world class customer service.
» The ability to navigate external websites to resolve queries.

Required Skills

» Fluent in English for business.
» Excellent communication skills are essential in this role.
» A general understanding of Microsoft Office Package.
» Excellent Problem Solving skills.
» Ability to organise, plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
» Can do attitude and Attention to detail are vital.
» High computer literacy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
» Good understanding of how gadgets and electronics work.

» Fluency in another European language (Spanish/Italian)
» Sales Experience
